Message from the Board

Glow Cambodia's mission has two aspects. One is "universal education," aiming to help many students. Therefore, there is now the "Sala Opheas Kampuchea (SOK) School of Light of Cambodia." This school started as a kindergarten, but now it has primary and secondary schools, from grades one to six. This year, the secondary school has started offering courses up to grade two.
Another aspect of Glow's work is "Leadership Training Ministry," which currently has three ministries. The first is the "Leadership Training School," which aims to train pastors and church leaders in rural areas and other provinces. It's called the "Capability Building for Organisational Leadership (CBOL) program." We go to every province to provide training, and we've already conducted training in seven or eight provinces. The students' feedback reflects that the training helps them achieve results in their ministry.
The second ministry is the "Marketplace Transformation Course," a new and very important course that encourages people with degrees or higher to take, hoping to help them witness to the Lord in their workplaces.
The third ministry is the Tahas School of Diakonia, which aims to train more local workers who can return to serve in the church. Therefore, regardless of their educational background, they can return to serve in the church or in other ministry positions according to their abilities. This is a crucial part of the development of the Cambodian church.
We see education as a ministry that blesses the whole person's life, so in addition to teaching them knowledge, we also hope that they will be transformed in their spiritual life; that they will be able to know the Lord Jesus and salvation, which is a blessing for the whole person.
