Glow Education Centre

Local grassroots education – ministry philosophy

Glow Worldwide  (GWW)

The "Glow Education Centre" currently focuses on serving new immigrants and non-Chinese-speaking minority primary and secondary school students. The organization hopes to combine service with missionary work through the education centre, serving families in need, especially their children and teenagers, with the love of Christ. Regardless of their nationality, ethnicity, length of stay in Hong Kong, or educational background, the education centre will provide them with appropriate after-school tutoring, enabling them to confidently adapt to new languages and learning systems with the help of tutors.

"Truly I tell you, whoever gives even a cup of cool water to one of these little ones in the name of disciples will surely not be without reward."

Matthew 10:42

Also dedicated to

To cultivate students' interests and guide them to discover the abilities God has given them, we offer various interest classes (visits/outdoor activities, cultural and musical arts, sports activities) for them to participate in.

In this way, parents can relieve the pressure and burden of worrying about their children's studies and growth, and gain peace and stability of mind and body, and experience love and care.

Academic Cultivation

Homework tutoring class

Every Monday to Friday, from 4 pm to 6 pm, about 20 primary school students participate in homework tutoring classes, where teachers help them complete their homework and studies. The services are mainly for students from low-income families and those who need special assistance due to poor academic performance.

We hope that with the teachers' careful help, students will make different progress in self-confidence, learning attitude and academic performance. We also hope that in the process of accompanying students' growth, students will know that they are valuable, can improve and can give full play to their strengths, and can contribute to society in the future.

Extracurricular activities

In addition to academics, the center also hopes to help students build character, broaden their experiences and knowledge, and at the same time, learn about faith, receive salvation, and practice Christian values.

Co-organizing events with churches in the Jordan area

Activities such as Mid-Autumn Festival reunion events and Christmas celebrations allow them to get to know the church and receive care and pastoral care.
